Service Ethics Framework
How we operate, why we refuse, and what costs us money. Nothing to hide.
Let's be honest. If you're reading this, you've likely tried other practitioners. And something felt... off.
Maybe they sold you something that didn't work. Maybe they promised fast results and rushed you into a ritual that couldn't possibly succeed. Maybe they talked a lot about their powers and their mystique, but when it came time to actually help, they were more interested in the next sale than your situation.
Or maybe you just had a gut feeling something wasn't right; that the "yes" they kept saying didn't actually serve you.
This page exists because we operate differently. Not better. Differently. And we think you deserve to know how, and why, before you decide to work with us.
Here's the pattern we see constantly:
You come in wanting something. You describe your situation, they nod, and within minutes they're already proposing a solution. Usually the biggest, most expensive one they offer. It sounds amazing. It sounds like exactly what you need.
They don't ask hard questions. How long has this been going on? What have you already tried? What's your actual timeline? Are you ready for this level of work? These conversations cost them time and money, so they skip them.
The work gets rushed. You want it fast. They can do fast. They perform the ritual outside the lunar windows it actually needs. They skip the cleansing that would protect you. They tell you it will work anyway.
Six months later, nothing changed. Or it got worse. And now you're wondering if magic is real, or if you just wasted money and time.
The truth? The work probably wasn't real. Not because magic isn't real. But because it was performed in a way that couldn't possibly work.
Real occult work depends on something practitioners won't tell you because it's inconvenient: alignment.
Your ritual needs to happen on the right planetary day, at the right hour, during the right lunar phase, at the right time relative to your actual goal. At RosesAreDark, a Jupiter working done on a Thursday (Jupiter's day) disperses instead of amplifies. This is how we practise. Other practitioners may work differently.
This isn't mystical. It's structural. It's how the work actually functions when aligned properly.
But alignment takes time. It means sometimes you can't book for three weeks because the next viable window isn't until then. It means patience, not impatience.
Most practitioners don't tell you this because it's a harder sell.
We tell you upfront.
When you contact us, something different happens.
Not "can we sell you something?" but "does this serve you?"
We ask about your journey with RosesAreDark. Your current state. What you've already tried and what actually worked before. What your timeline actually is, not what you hope it is. We're digging for the truth of your situation, not building a sales case.
This takes time. Some practitioners avoid this conversation entirely. We lead with it.
You came asking for a big ritual package. We might suggest something smaller, slower, different.
Maybe you want to win someone back. We hear the heartbreak. We also hear that what you actually need is healing work and boundary-setting first, because a reconciliation working won't stick if you haven't addressed the core wound.
Maybe you want abundance work. But your shield is degraded and hasn't been maintained in over a year. If we perform a booster on a compromised foundation, the ritual amplifies everything in your astral state, including the clutter. You end up more tangled, not more abundant.
We tell you this. Even when it means losing the sale.
This costs us money. Repeatedly. Every single year.
We do it anyway.
Not pressure. Not a sales pitch dressed up as a recommendation. Just clarity.
You know what you're getting. The timeline. What's required from you. What's not guaranteed. What could go wrong if you don't follow our guidance. The worst case scenario.
You know why we suggested this instead of that. Because we actually assessed your situation.
Then you decide. No upselling. No flattery about how "powerful" you are for the bigger package. Just respect for your ability to make your own choice.
Because it's aligned. Because you were prepared. Because we didn't skip the part that matters. Most clients don't return because they got the answers and resolutions they needed when they needed them. Not because they're satisfied and complacent, but because they're solved. The working actually worked. You came with a problem. You leave with a resolution. That's why they don't book again.
You're not paying for repeat dependency. You're not paying to jump around different practitioners, still lost and not getting the answers or resolutions. You're paying for actual solutions. For work that finishes what it started. For answers that stick.
And that's exactly why we command the price we do.
Across 2,000+ transactions since the start of 2025, this pattern holds.
Clients came wanting one thing, left understanding they needed another. Not all of them booked. Both outcomes were right. The clarity made the choice real.
The refund rate? Almost none. In early 2025, we had refunds due to mismatches between marketed information and client expectations. Since June 2025 through now, zero refunds due to unmet expectations, because we corrected the communication gap.
We still issue refunds, but not because of buyer's remorse. We refund when we determine a service is unsuitable for a client and it's better to stop than to proceed unnecessarily. We also handle refunds for things like double payments or admin issues. But refunds for "I expected something different"? That ended once our information matched reality. And it's not because we have strict policies. It's because the clarity prevents the need for refunds. People know what they're getting. They're not surprised. They're not disappointed. The terms were clear before money changed hands.
That shouldn't be remarkable. But in an industry built on mystery and upselling, it is.
Before you decide whether to work with us, you should understand what "affordable" magic is actually built on.
They promise results in days. They perform outside alignment windows because speed generates volume. They tell you the work is still "powerful" even when it's structurally unstable. (It's not.)
Then they upsell you: "The first working didn't take? Try this stronger package." Six upsells later, you've spent three times what aligned work would have cost, and nothing has changed.
They post dozens of glowing testimonials the same week. Their social media is engineered for urgency: scarcity, limited spots, testimonials designed to create FOMO. Everything is wrapped in emotional language.
The marketing is the product.
The work? Secondary.
They don't ask questions. They don't suggest alternatives. If you ask for a working designed to override someone's free will, they do it. If you ask for a reconciliation spell on a rush timeline, they do it.
No friction. No protection. No ethics.
The most motivated buyers in occult services are heartbroken people. These practitioners serve the heartbreak, not the person.
We tell you when the working is the wrong tool. When your timeline makes it impossible. When you need cleansing first, not the package you came for. When the outcome you're asking for is outside what's actually possible.
Most practitioners avoid these conversations. We lead with them.
This costs revenue. Repeatedly. We carry that cost in our pricing so the work stays right instead of fast.
This isn't a mystery.
Ethics cost money. Refusing upsells loses repeat bookings. Refusing harm work loses heartbreak sales. The most motivated buyers in the industry. Telling people no loses immediate sales. Assessing needs instead of wants means smaller average transaction value. Someone has to carry that cost. We do. It's in the pricing.
Efficacy takes time. Aligned work can't be rushed. The practitioner can only do so many aligned workings per month. Price reflects scarcity born from integrity.
Experience has value. Fifteen years of learning what works and what backfires is not something you can get cheaper. The practitioner who tells you no has earned that discernment through years of seeing what happens when you say yes to the wrong thing.
Results are traceable. We have 4.9/5 stars across 117 verified Google reviews and 5.0/5 stars across 313 verified Carousell reviews. These aren't solicited. These aren't testimonials we curated. These are from people who felt safe enough to post.
There are actually more reviews and testimonials than what's public. Many remain private for two reasons. First, some clients shared too much detail about the ritual process or the occult workings themselves, and that gives away methodology we need to protect. Real occult work has power because it's not broadcast. Second, other testimonials contain information too sensitive for public consumption. Not because they're false. Because people aren't ready to hear it. The toxicity of misinformation about what's actually possible has made certain truths controversial. We won't publish testimonials that would make clients targets of ridicule or worse, or that would feed conspiracy theories and damage trust in RosesAreDark among the people who need us.
Secrecy is the characteristic that runs through all our reviews. Real occult work is rarely spoken of or shared. The most powerful figures in politics, entertainment, corporate (the ones who actually moved things) are known to be involved with occult work. They never speak about it. Power lies in secrecy. Silence is its own form of power.
Compare that to practitioners with dozens of testimonials posted the same week, all emotional, all urgent. That volume tells you something. Just not what they want you to think.
Cheap work doesn't save money. It delays the cost. You pay later in problems that keep returning, in outcomes that collapse the moment the working stops, in situations made more tangled instead of less.
You should know upfront: we're going to be blunt.
We're not going to soften things to make you feel good. We're not going to tell you what you want to hear. We're going to tell you what's true, what serves your highest good, and what doesn't.
Here's the practical reality: being "rude" costs money. Being service-oriented prints money. RosesAreDark is a lawfully registered company in Singapore, a for-profit organisation. It makes no financial sense to turn away revenue and profits by telling people no. If we say no, if we decline a service or tell you the hard truth, there must be a deeper reason behind it. Because it's costing us.
This isn't rudeness. This is respect. And it costs us money. That's how you know it's real.
If you need a practitioner who specializes in customer service pleasantries, there are many. They're good at what they do. Go to them.
If you want someone who will stop a sale and tell you the truth, even when it costs them money, you found them.
Before we go deeper into how we work with clients, you need to understand what Luciferian work actually is. Because there's a lot of confusion.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that Luciferianism is defined by whether someone works with demons.
It's not.
Some Luciferian practitioners never work with demonic intelligences at all. Others work with planetary forces. Hermetic systems. Alchemy. Philosophy. Pure discernment and inner work.
Whether someone employs demons has nothing to do with whether they're truly Luciferian.
Lucifer is Latin for light-bringer. The figure who carries light into places that prefer to stay dark.
Luciferian work is about empowerment. Putting truth and clarity into your hands so you can see and act for yourself, not for someone else's agenda. It's sovereignty. Self-direction. The refusal to be told what to believe without examining it first.
In practice, this means:
Sovereignty. You are the point of decision in your own life. No one (not a practitioner, not a spirit, not circumstance) overrides that.
Self-Empowerment. The power you build is yours. You don't need permission to possess it.
Enlightenment. Truth matters more than comfort. If truth dismantles something you assumed was permanent, so be it.
Free Will. Choice is sacred. Yours. And everyone else's.
Breaking Shackles. The visible chains, and the ones you put on yourself.
This is why we refuse certain workings, even when you're ready to pay. Because empowerment means we serve your highest good, not your impulse.
Luciferian does not restrict you to a religion or faith. Because Luciferianism is not a religion. It's a path, a practice, a philosophy. Much like Buddhism. Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion, and you can hold Buddhist philosophy alongside any faith tradition or none. Same concept applies here. You maintain whatever faith tradition you hold, or none at all. You have free will to do what you want. Luciferianism doesn't demand exclusivity or belief. It demands responsibility for your choices.
At RosesAreDark, our primary initiatory current is demonic. But you need to understand what that actually means, because the word carries serious baggage.
Popular media has spent centuries telling you demons are evil. That they possess people. That they're forces of destruction and chaos.
Our tradition does not define demonic that way.
Demonic refers to a specific category of spiritual intelligences we work with. It's a description of our initiatory path, not a moral judgement.
In our practice, demonic work is approached with reverence, preparation, accountability, and respect. Not fear. Not sensationalism. Not entertainment.
The distinction between "good" and "evil" spirits is a theological lens, not an inherent quality. There are practitioners on the "light" side performing work that serves darkness, and practitioners on the "dark" side performing work that serves liberation.
Everyone has a different definition of what constitutes good or evil. That's between them and whatever they answer to. We're not here to officiate their judgements or police their definitions. What matters to us is the intention of our own practitioner, our discipline, and the ethical framework within which we operate. We hold our line. Everyone else holds theirs.
Real occult work depends on structural alignment. At RosesAreDark, at minimum:
The right day and planetary hour (Jupiter work belongs on Thursday, Saturn on Saturday). This is how RosesAreDark practises. Other practitioners may work differently.
The right lunar phase (full moon and new moon are the strongest for manifestation work, depending on your specific objectives)
The right timeline relative to your goal (booster work at least 72 hours before the event, foundational work sometimes months ahead)
Work done outside these windows isn't just weaker. It's structurally unstable.
This is how workings backfire. This is how situations get worse instead of better. This is why people arrive at us saying, "I've tried five practitioners and everything got worse."
The work wasn't wrong. The alignment was.
You might need to wait. The next viable window might not be for three weeks. If you're impatient, that's valid, but impatience doesn't change how the work functions.
We'll tell you this upfront. Other practitioners won't, because the wait is hard to sell.
Ritual work amplifies what's already present. If your astral body is cluttered with stagnant, hostile, or depleting energies, a booster ritual amplifies those too, alongside your intention.
This is how you end up more tangled, not more abundant.
Before any manifestation work, such as abundance, visibility, love, career advancement, a private cleansing is strongly recommended if:
More than a year has passed since your last private cleansing, OR you haven't been actively maintaining your protection shield, OR your shield feels faded or neglected.
This isn't upselling. This is honesty about the worst-case scenario. You proceed at your own risk if you skip this, but we warn you first.
Everything we've described above is rooted in three interconnected areas. They're not separate policies. They're how we operate.
What this covers: Understanding what Luciferian work actually is, why so many misconceptions exist, and how we approach discernment.
You now have the foundation above. Luciferianism isn't monolithic. Not all work uses demons. Alignment matters. Your astral state matters.
What this covers: What happens when you become a paying client. What to expect. How we serve you differently.
You've already seen this above: the four-step pattern, the proof points, the market comparison, why the price is what it is.
What you should remember: We tell you no more often than yes. And when we say yes, it means something.
What this covers: Professional conduct, safeguarding, and the non-negotiable lines we hold.
We do not perform readings, rituals, or spiritual work while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We don't encourage clients to attend impaired either.
Entering altered states through intoxication is chemical and temporary. Cultivating altered states through disciplined spiritual practice is intentional and developed over time. They're not the same thing.
We carry responsibility for everyone who trusts us with their spiritual work. This requires clarity and presence on our end.
While we're not a crisis service, we take your wellbeing seriously. If we reasonably believe you're at immediate risk of harming yourself or others, we reserve the right to take safeguarding measures, which include contacting emergency services if necessary.
This overrides confidentiality. Preserving life takes precedence over all other commitments.
For clients with ongoing psychiatric treatment: We reserve the right to decline participation in certain rituals if we believe the experience could interfere with your treatment. This isn't discrimination. It's recognizing the limits of our competence. We're not psychiatrists. We can't assess whether an altered-state ritual interacts safely with your medications or conditions.
You must disclose any psychiatric treatment, assessment, or long-term psychiatric medication before booking. This isn't optional. Non-disclosure may result in refusal of service or removal from a session without refund.
These aren't policies we follow grudgingly. They're commitments we hold even when they cost us.
1. You Are Never Shortchanged
We will not sell you a lesser working under a greater name, regardless of your budget. The name on what you receive is the truth.
2. You Are Never Sold Your Goal Twice
We don't upsell people who already have what they came for. Many clients don't return because they don't need to. You'll hear "don't buy this" more often than "buy more of this."
3. Free Will Is Never Compromised
We will not perform workings designed to override another person's autonomy. This includes reconciliation spells, coercion work, binding without consent, or anything that serves manipulation over their highest good.
We know this is a constant request. Heartbreak motivates people to ask. We refuse anyway. Whatever the pain. Whatever the offer.
Exception: We will perform protective workings for someone's benefit without their explicit knowledge if the intention is genuinely protective. This includes shielding from harm, opening paths, clearing depleting energies. What matters: does it serve their highest good or your emotional need? If the distinction blurs, we refuse.
4. You Are Never Boosted Without Knowing the Cost
If you proceed with work and your shield is degraded, that work amplifies clutter alongside your intention. The outcome is muddled at best, chaotic at worst.
We warn you upfront. You decide. But you decide with full information.
5. You Are Never Lied to About What's Possible
Not all situations call for ritual. If you're asking for abundance work but you actually need cleansing, you'll hear that. If your timeline makes the work impossible, you'll hear it. If the outcome is outside the scope of what's possible, you'll hear that.
Most practitioners upsell instead of having this conversation. We stop the sale and tell you the truth. This costs revenue. We do it anyway.
We acknowledge that baneful and justice workings have existed across human history and many traditions. We don't adopt a blanket position that all hexing is unethical.
But we hold clear boundaries.
We will not perform hexes, curses, or baneful workings against immediate family members solely because you want to retaliate, punish, or sever the relationship.
When someone comes to us with family conflict, abuse, manipulation, or generational trauma, our first recommendation is protection, sovereignty, boundary-setting, justice work that liberates you, not harm work against them.
The question should never be "How do we hurt this person?" It should be "How do we protect and strengthen you?"
We reserve the absolute right to refuse any working motivated by malice, obsession, disproportionate vengeance, emotional impulsivity, or a desire to inflict unnecessary suffering.
Spiritual ability doesn't remove ethical responsibility. It increases it.
Every client possesses free will. Every petition, every ritual, every decision remains your karma to bear.
Our role is to assess whether your request aligns with our ethical standards. We reserve the right to decline any service we believe is spiritually irresponsible or ethically incompatible.
If you repeatedly reject our guidance, refuse safeguards, or insist on a path we believe contradicts our principles, we reserve the right to refuse service.
We welcome practitioners from all traditions who may have undergone previous workings, initiations, spirit work, or energetic attunements.
The challenge: pre-existing conditions can interfere with clarity. Conflicting energetic influences can muddy a reading or compromise a ritual. Sometimes clients are carrying spirit attachments, parasitic energies, or what we classify as alienic or lesser demonic attachments.
These need to be addressed first. It's not extra work. It's necessary work.
You must disclose before consultation or ritual:
Previous magical workings or rituals you've undergone, existing initiations, pacts, spirit work, devotional commitments, ongoing magical practices, previous spirit removals, exorcisms, or energetic cleansing, any known spiritual conditions or concerns.
This isn't to prejudice you. It's to understand your situation fully so Phoebe can determine the most appropriate course of action.
We welcome individuals of all ages who genuinely seek spiritual guidance.
Anyone under 21 requires parental or legal guardian consent before any service: consultations, readings, rituals, mentorship, initiatory work.
If you're under 21 and interested in working with us, have the conversation with your parent/guardian. We may request to speak with them to answer questions and ensure they understand what's involved.
We also have specific safeguards for clients with ongoing psychiatric treatment, and protocols for confidentiality and privacy.
No cost. No pressure. No ill will.
If you want to hear what you want to hear, go elsewhere. There are practitioners who specialize in that. They're good at it.
If you want someone who will assess your real situation, suggest what actually serves your highest good, tell you no when no is correct, and be transparent about every bit of it, then you now know exactly who does that work and what we stand on.
We will tell you when a working isn't the right tool. When your timeline means waiting, not booking this week. When your shield needs attention first. When the outcome you want is outside what's possible. When you want something that won't serve you.
You will be told no more often than yes.
And when we say yes, it will mean something. Because the no was real.
In darkness and illumination.
These aren't marketing statements. They're the operational code.
Fifteen years of practice has proven this works. Not for volume, but for integrity. Not for quick answers, but for lasting clarity.
If this resonates with you, you already know what kind of work you're standing on.
If it doesn't, that clarity serves you too.
